Mainstream Cinema Complex's such as the Hoyt's & Village centres are big, plush, and boast huge screens, crisp sound and popcorn servings to satisfy even the most salt-starved moviegoer.
Independents & Art house theatres offer selections for the more discerning moviegoer. Foreign epics with carefully scripted dialogue are sometimes showed only at selected cinemas so do check the guides. You will always find comfortable seating with tasteful, modern decor and normally a cafe/ bar or snack shop.
Then there is the beast amongst cinemas, IMAX. IMAX delivers a massive visual and auditory performance of effects and illusions. Try to get a seat right in the middle of the cinema it will be an experience.
